Reports in Spain claim midfielder Sead Haksabanovic is hoping to end his loan spell at Malaga early and return to West Ham in January. The 19-year-old was sent out to the Spanish Segunda Division outfit for a year-long loan stint but has played only 44 minutes of competitive football for the Boquerones.

The Montenegro international clearly does not feature in coach Juan Muniz’s plans and it seems something might change in the new year.
West Ham signed Haksabanovic from Swedish club Halmstads BK in the summer of 2017 but he made just two cup appearances last term after being left out of the Premier League squad.
Manuel Pellegrini allowed him to move to Spain in the hope the youngster would gain some valuable game time, but it has not worked out that way and Malaga-based newspaper Diario Sur claims the teenager is one of several players ‘interested in leaving’ in the winter window.
It seems unlikely he would be given much exposure back in the East End but a loan move to another club, possibly in the Championship, might suit all parties concerned.
