Hammers Eye Moroccan Hitman

West Ham are reportedly interested in Leganes’ highly-rated Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri as they look to bring in more firepower.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini splashed out £45million to bring Sebastian Haller in from Eintracht Frankfurt and the Chilean intends to keep Javier Hernandez for the coming campaign.

However, his options beyond that are not extensive with reports suggesting the club are trying to offload Jordan Hugill while Xande Silva is still unproven at the top level.

En-Nesyri hit nine goals in 31 La Liga appearances last season and also managed two goals in four games for Morocco at the African Cup of nations this summer. The 22-year-old has expressed a desire to leave the mid-table La Liga club.

Leganes do not want to sell him but will study any proposals that meet their valuation, which is believed to be £12million.
