Burnley boss Sean Dyche may allow former England keeper Joe Hart leave the club with Sheffield United said to be keen. The sale of one of the three top-class keepers at Burnley looks likely this summer and Hart could be the one who is allowed to leave.

Aston Villa have been linked with a £7m move for Tom Heaton who, despite regaining his place as number one last term, is about to enter the final year of his present deal at Turf Moor. The third keeper of the trio, Nick Pope, has recently signed a new long-term contract at the club and looks unlikely to be on the move, so much may depend on what the newly-promoted Blades offer for Hart.

Meanwhile Dyche has admitted there is still plenty of work to do in the final two weeks of the window as he looks to add to his squad. Dyche said: “No encouragement, it costs money and money is difficult to find at this place.”
