Hudson Could Make Changes

Huddersfield interim boss Mark Hudson may look to shuffle his pack for Sunday’s visit of Manchester City. The 36-year-old has been installed on a caretaker basis for the match following David Wagner’s departure and will be without Abdelhamid Sabiri, Aaron Mooy and Danny Williams, all of whom are long-term absentees.

Recent arrival Jason Puncheon made his Premier League debut in last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Cardiff and will hope to keep his place in the starting XI.

Hudson could look to fill the squad with extra experience by including defenders Tommy Smith and Chris Lowe, both of whom started on the bench against the Bluebirds.

The former Town captain has refused to comment on his future beyond Sunday’s game but will be hoping to avoid a similar outcome to the pair’s meeting back in August.
On that occasion, Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick as the Citizens ran out 6-1 winners at the Etihad.
