Inter Target Lukaku To Lower Wage Demands – Report

Manchester United reportedly want £70million for Romelu Lukaku, who could lower his wage demands to get a transfer to Inter Milan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter will not find it easy to reach a deal with the Red Devils for new boss Antonio Conte’s top striker target.

It is thought that Lukaku’s agent has already met Nerazzurri officials and is ready to lower his wage demands in order to assist the transfer.

Ex-Chelsea boss Conte is about to be announced as Inter coach and is thought to be one of the driving forces behind the interest as he sees Lukaku as key to his rebuilding project at the San Siro.

United are willing to let the ex-Everton star, who cost £75m when he signed on at Old Trafford two years ago, go at the right price because manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to take his side’s attacking play in a different direction. Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello has previously revealed that the Belgian striker’s future remains “very open”.
