Jesus Hints At Cardiff Offer

Jorge Jesus has suggested Cardiff have approached him to take over after revealing he has an offer from a club that could go down.

With Fulham and Huddersfield Town already relegated from the Premier League, just one more club will be dropping down to the Championship and, at the moment, that will be Cardiff.

The Bluebirds are sitting 18th in the standings, five points adrift of safety with just six games remaining, and it will take a huge effort for the Welsh side to stay up this season.

Neil Warnock has been mixed on whether he will remain in charge, but it appears the club are already making efforts to replace the Englishman, and former Benfica boss Jesus is believed to be top of the list.

The 64-year-old has confirmed an offer has come his way from a Premier League team that could get relegated this term. Speaking to CMTV, Jesus said: “Fortunately I can choose.

If I do not like what they present to me, I do not work. In England, I have the possibility of starting work already in May. “I’m not going to say which team, they’re in a difficult position on the Premier League table and will possibly go down. I said I will think and I will, but it is not my priority.”
