England coach Eddie Jones expects Australian flanker David Pocock to be fit for Saturday’s clash. Doubts over the fitness of Pocock have emerged after he was forced to leave the field with a neck injury as the Wallabies beat Italy at the weekend.

The 30-year-old did not train on Monday, with team-mates casting doubt on whether Pocock will play against England, saying he is ‘pretty busted’.
However there is a certain amount scepticism coming from the England camp, and a sense of deja vu after there were doubts over Pocock’s fitness during the Test series down under two years ago.
“We’re not even thinking about it,” former Australia coach Jones said when quizzed about whether he thinks Pocock will play. “I hear this every time we play Australia, Pocock’s not going to be fit, he’ll be fit. When I heard it, I thought, ‘here we go again’. “You know those merry-go-rounds at the Royal Easter Show. It’s a bit like that.”
