Jovic Edges Closer To Summer Exit

Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic has reportedly agreed personal terms with Barcelona over a summer move. Serbia international Jovic has been a first-team regular for Eintracht since joining on a two-year loan from Benfica in June 2017 and his impressive performances have caught the eye of several top European clubs.

The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals from 19 Bundesliga appearances this term, helping Die Adler climb to fifth, and La Liga champions Barcelona are eager to acquire his services in the next transfer window.

Eintracht are expected to take up the option to sign Jovic permanently at the end of the campaign for a reported 12million euros, but they may not see the striker in action in the 2019/20 season due to interest from the Catalans.

Barca, who have been looking to strengthen their forward options for some time, are believed to have already agreed personal terms with the Serbian over a transfer although a transfer fee with Frankfurt is still to be settled on.
