Former AC Milan star Kaka has confirmed he is in talks with the club over a potential role at the San Siro. The 36-year-old spent the final few years of his playing career with Orlando City in the MLS before he officially confirmed his retirement in December 2017.
However, he is not looking to completely turn his back on football and after around nine months away from the game, Kaka is assessing his options.
Kaka flew into Italy on Wednesday to meet with representatives of AC Milan and begin discussions over a future role at the San Siro.
It is understood that he is considering the possibility of joining Milan’s board along with fellow Rossoneri legends Leonardo and Paolo Maldini.
Kaka said: “I often talk with Leonardo, we are friends, but the role that I will have at Milan we have not yet discussed.
“Now my priority is my children living in Brazil, which is the reason why I did not arrive at Milan before, but Leonardo and Maldini bring me even closer to Milan.”
