Keogh Pens New Northants Deal

All-rounder Rob Keogh has put pen-to-paper on a new deal to keep him at Northamptonshire for the 2021 season. The 27-year-old has spent his entire first-class career with Northants since he made his debut for the county against Glamorgan in 2012.

Keogh has scored over 3,600 runs and taken 88 wickets in the County Championship while at Wantage Road. He scored 1,280 runs and took 26 wickets across all formats in 2019 as Northants finished second in Division Two Speaking about his new deal extension, Keogh said: “It’s an exciting season ahead after being promoted.

“We’ve been a successful team over the last 10 years and I’m looking forward to more success with the club.”

Head Coach David Ripley added on the Northants’ website: “I’m really pleased for Rob, he’s made a contribution across all three forms with bat and ball this year. “He’s showed he can score hundreds, he’s taken wickets and he’s a brilliant fielder so why wouldn’t you want Rob Keogh hanging around for another couple of years?”
