Crystal Palace midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate insists right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka can become one of the best in the Premier League. The youngster hit the headlines last weekend when he starred during the 2-0 win over Fulham.
He managed to keep Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon at bay for the 90 minutes and Eagles boss Roy Hodgson was quick to pile the praise on his shoulders.
Wan-Bissaka had only made nine professional appearances before the win at Craven Cottage but he can now continue to shine, according to team-mate Kouyate.
He told Sky Sports News: “He is a very good player and he is young. If he continues to play this way this year he could be the best right-back in the league. He has everything, he is clever and strong. This boy makes me happy.”
Bissaka is expected to start again as Hodgson’s men take on Liverpool at home on Monday night.
