New Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac admits he was very happy with how his side played on Saturday as they beat Stuttgart 3-0. Leon Goretzka opened the scoring with his first goal for the club just before half time before Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller made the game secure in the second period.
Kovac has a perfect record at the start of the season with Bayern, winning all four of his competitive games in charge after being appointed from Eintracht Frankfurt during the close season.

And Kovac, who secured a 5-0 win against his former club in the German Cup, says he was pleased with the way his side comfortably swept aside Stuttgart.
“That looked really good, I’d like to congratulate my team on it,” Kovac told the club’s website. “I’m fully satisfied.
“All four of our competitive fixtures so far have been good. The team turned in a really good display today, around 12 corners to Stuttgart’s zero in an away match, lots of possession, they created promising chances.”
