Leicester Fresh For City Trip

Leicester Fresh For City Trip

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers says he has no new injury concerns ahead of Monday’s clash at Manchester City.

Rodgers will be hoping he can help former employers Liverpool in the title race by taking some points from defending champions City, who are two points behind the Reds going into Monday’s contest.

The Foxes head into the clash off the back of a 3-0 victory over Arsenal, extending their unbeaten run to two matches, and they will be looking to do the double over the Citizens, having picked up a 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture.

Ghana international Daniel Amartey is the only absentee for Leicester as he continues to recover from an ankle injury sustained back in late October, with Rodgers confirming his squad is in good health. “Not at this moment in time,” the 46-year-old said, when asked for news of any new injuries.

“There’s a few days to go but, at this moment, everyone is okay.” Former England international Jamie Vardy, who has scored six goals from his last five matches, is expected to lead the line once again.
