Leicester midfielder Nampalys Mendy believes their performances will continue to improve as new signings settle in. The Foxes boast six points from their opening four games of 2018-10, having beaten Wolves and Southampton.
Leicester’s defeats came against Manchester United and Liverpool – losing both games 2-1 – and many felt they were deserving of more from those fixtures.
New signing Rachid Ghezzal netted in Saturday’s loss to Liverpool and fellow newboy James Maddison also put in a strong performance.
Mendy believes the new additions are starting to find their feet and feels it bodes well for the future of the club.
“It’s the beginning of the season. We have a lot of new players in the team and I think in future we’ll play better and have a good result,” Mendy said.
“For the next game, we have a big confidence because we played well today. We will recover for next week against Bournemouth.”
