Liverpool Plot Shock Move For Hull Stopper

Reports claim Liverpool are plotting a shock move for Hull goalkeeper David Marshall as they look to provide cover for Alisson. The Scotland international has played in the Premier League previously with Hull and Cardiff and boasts over 500 appearances across all competitions.

He turned out 43 times in the Championship for the Tigers in 2018-19, keeping 11 clean sheets, and could be offered the chance to return to the top level, although he is unlikely to get many minutes at Anfield.

Simon Mignolet has been widely tipped to leave Merseyside this summer and that would leave Jurgen Klopp short of options. Caoimhin Kelleher was the third choice last term but his lack of experience at senior level is proving to be a concern for Klopp.
