Liverpool Stopper Heads Out On Loan

Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has put pen to paper on a new deal before agreeing to spend 2019-20 on loan at Huddersfield. The Merseyside outfit signed the 20-year-old from Polish side Ruch Chorzow ahead of the 2016-17 campaign for a fee in the region of £250,000.

Grabara has represented Liverpool at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-23 level but is yet to make a senior appearance. Jurgen Klopp clearly values the Pole and has tied the goalkeeper down to a new deal but he isn’t deemed ready for first-team action yet.

With that in mind, Liverpool have agreed to let him head to the Championship with Huddersfield on loan for 2019-20 in order to aid his development. Liverpool said in a statement: “Kamil Grabara has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool and joined Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan deal.”
