Goalkeeper Jonas Lossl feels it is only a matter of time before Huddersfield secure their first victory of the season. The Terriers are one of only two teams yet to taste a victory in the Premier League this term, but produced a spirited display during their narrow 1-0 home defeat to high-flying Liverpool on Saturday.
Indeed, David Wagner’s side were unfortunate not to take at least a point from that fixture, as midfielder Jonathan Hogg struck the post with a long-range effort while Alex Pritchard had a goal ruled out for offside.
The result also ensured Huddersfield are yet to score a goal at the John Smith’s Stadium, but Lossl is confident the goals and results will come if they continue to play in the same manner.
“We have to stay positive. We have to look at the performances and the feeling is right now is that if you put in these performances it is bound to turn,” Lossl was quoted as saying by the Examiner.
Huddersfield will travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford in their next match on Saturday before they face back-to-back home matches against Fulham and West Ham and Lossl is convinced their first victory will come during that run.
The Denmark international added: “Unfortunately there is no easy fixtures in the Premier League, it would be nice if there was, but if we bring these performances in the next three games I am sure we will get a win.”
