Burnley defender Matt Lowton has hailed the back-to-basics approach that the side adopted in the draw with Leicester on Saturday.
The Clarets kept a rare clean sheet at King Power Stadium, and, after the last three games where they shipped 13 goals, that was a major plus for the team.

Lowton was impressive as the side completed just their third shutout of the season and ended their run of three defeats. “It gives us a lift, little things like that, and I thought we built into the game. We had a couple of half-chances and we defended well,” he told reporters.
“We have been working hard over the last few weeks trying to get back to what we are about, and I thought we did that, getting on the front foot. “We defended well in our shape, everyone worked hard and it was a very good point.”
