Lukaku For Inter As Reds Snub Dybala

Manchester United have pulled out of a deal to sign Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, with Inter Milan now on course to land Romelu Lukaku. The Reds have been locked in talks with the Argentina international as part of a swap deal that would have seen Lukaku head to the Italian champions.

However, United are now said to have pulled the plug on the deal as they are not willing to meet Dybala’s personal demands, while they have also questioned the player’s desire to make the move. Where that leaves Lukaku remains to be seen but a switch to Inter Milan now looks to be back on after Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte said it could still happen.

“Honestly I can’t know, I don’t know,” the former Chelsea boss said when quizzed about Juve throwing a spanner in the works. “I’m reading (about) this swap in the papers. “For sure Lukaku, we are talking about a good player, a striker that in the past I tried to buy when I was Chelsea’s coach. “We’re talking about two big clubs, Juventus and Inter Milan, but honestly I don’t know. Only my way is to work with this group of players, to try to improve this group and instil the right mentality.”
