Maddison Tipped For Big Things

Maddison Tipped For Big Things

Former Leicester City defender Danny Simpson feels James Maddison has the world at his feet and will join Manchester United at some stage of his career. Maddison, 22, is in his second season at the King Power Stadium having scored seven goals from 36 Premier League appearances last term.
The former Coventry City ace has impressed in the early part of the campaign, having been linked with the Old Trafford giants and other clubs during the summer transfer window.

Nothing materialised, however, and the former England Under-21 star will ply his trade with the Foxes until at least January, when United have been tipped to make a bid.

It remains to be seen if that is just paper talk but Simpson – a Premier League winner with Leicester – agrees that the talented midfielder will be on his way sooner rather than later. “Yeah,” he told Sky Sports.

“He, for me, is world class. I think people are speaking right now but honestly I think for an English player as well, honestly he’s world class and he’s only going to get better and better. “He’s that good, honestly. Honestly, he’s got it all. He’s quick in his mind so I think he doesn’t need to have blistering pace running past people because he’s clever and he thinks before everyone else.”

Punters looking to use a free bet might fancy Leicester to live up to their billing and finish in the top six, as they currently sit fourth in the fledgling Premier League season.

They are next in top-flight action at home to Bournemouth on August 31.
