Manchester United’s interest in Dries Mertens has resurfaced in the media, but Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen. The in-form Belgian striker’s ability to fit into an attacking three has put him firmly on the radars of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, according to Calciomercato.com.

United were linked to Mertens last season and throughout the summer, despite appearing to have his favoured left-flank position well covered by Anthony Martial right now.
Liverpool have witnessed his ability close-up in the Champions League recently and, having scored 26 goals over the past two Serie A seasons, he has already hit eight so far this term.
At 31, however, he is no spring chicken and Liverpool are unlikely to sanction a big-money move for a player at the back end of his career – even if the ex-PSV Eindhoven star fancies a move to the Premier League one day. “I’m happy in Italy and I’m fine at Napoli, but maybe in the future I could come to England,” Mertens said last season.
