Brighton midfielder Dale Stephens has urged his team-mates to remember how good they are at home when they take on Manchester United. The Seagulls opening weekend in the Premier League did not go according to plan and there has been an air of doom around the place following a disappointing performance and result at Watford last weekend.
Stephens though believes the players should forget that display and look to bounce back with their first home game of the season against Jose Mourinho’s United this weekend.
He told The Argus: “With Watford being the first game, we needed to start strong.
“It took us a little while to get going last year and we were conscious we wanted a fast start this season.
“But it’s only one game. We have still got a lot of football to be played and it’s not all doom and gloom.
“We have got a massive game to start everyone going again.”
