Miranda Could Depart Inter

Inter Milan defender Miranda could be allowed to move to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning, according to reports. The Nerazzurri are moving into a new era after announcing Antonio Conte as their new manager at the back end of May and the Italian is already putting his stamp on the squad.

The signing of Diego Godin has pushed Miranda further down the pecking order and it is widely thought the Brazilian has no future at the club, particularly after Conte failed to mention his name when talking about defensive options at his disposal.

Reports suggest that Inter are looking to strike up a deal with sister club Jiangsu in order to sell Miranda and free up space in the squad. Jiangsu’s current owners also have a 70 per cent stake in Inter Milan so negotiations would, therefore, be easier to conduct. The 34-year-old defender though has yet to agree personal terms with Jiangsu, who are currently ninth in the Chinese Super League. The transfer window for clubs in China shuts on July 31.
