Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic is confident he has the ability to succeed in the Premier League following his spell at Newcastle. Mitrovic joined Fulham on a permanent deal this summer after a very productive loan spell at the club in the second half of last season, scoring 12 goals in 17 Championship appearances and helping fire the Cottagers to promotion.
The Serb spent three years with Newcastle but never really produced the goods for the north east outfit and was shipped out on loan, with Rafa Benitez trusting Joselu and Dwight Gayle over him.
However, he is now seemingly the main man under compatriot Slavisa Jokanovic and the 23-year-old says he is confident in his ability to score just as many goals in the top flight.
“I want to show everybody that I can play in the best league in the world and score goals. Goals are like an addiction. When you score you want more and more,” he told The Telegraph.
“I know it is going to be hard. It is a better league with much more quality. But I know I have the ability, I have the quality.”
