Lyon are being linked with a summer move to replace manager Bruno Genesio with former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
Genesio’s deal expires at the end of the season with Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas non-committal over his future, despite leading the French side into the last-16 of the Champions League.

“He’s a coach who has won everywhere he’s been. “He is maybe not the one I identify with personality wise, but I respect him a lot regarding his records and achievements in football.

Obviously, he’s a great coach, so, if he succeeds me it would be an honour.” Lyon are currently third in the Ligue 1 standings, four points behind second-place Lille and 27 behind runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
