The 32-year-old Scot is a two-time Wimbledon champion in the singles, having defeated Milos Raonic in the 2016 final to achieve the feat, while he has triumphed at Queen’s a record five times Doubles has never really been on Murray’s agenda during his career and a second-round appearance in the 2006 French Open and 2008 US Open is his best result in the Grand Slams in that format.

The two-time Olympic gold medallist is working his way back to full fitness as he aims for a singles return later in the year. Elsewhere at Queen’s, British number one Kyle Edmund faces top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Fever-Tree Championships singles draw, while fellow Brit Dan Evans will play former world number three Stanislas Wawrinka.
