Murray Refusing To Panic

Brighton striker Glenn Murray insists the club can comfortably move away from the Premier League relegation zone in the coming weeks. The Seagulls have struggled of late and they have slipped down to 16th in the table with 11 games remaining this season.

Chris Hughton’s men are without a win in seven league matches and they are now just two points above the drop zone. Three of Brighton’s next five league matches are at home, starting with basement side Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

Despite the players being under immense pressure, Murray says his team can rectify their situation quickly. He told The Argus: “They are all big games from now, it doesn’t matter if they are down there with us or not.

They are all massive games. We’ve got to step up to it now. “It’s still in our hands.

It’s not like we are going into the last three games and we’ve got Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal. “We’ve got winnable games and it’s down to us and hard work on the training pitch, sticking together and being honest with one another and turning this around, especially with our home games.”
