Odriozola Out For Rest Of Season

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola will miss the remainder of the campaign after suffering a broken collarbone. Spain international Odriozola joined Los Blancos last summer from Real Sociedad in a deal reportedly worth around 30million euros but he has struggled to cement down a regular first-team spot, making just 14 La Liga appearances.

The 23-year-old right-back will not be playing in any of the remaining matches after he broke his collarbone during a challenge with Vinicius Junior in a training session on Friday. Odriozola will now be eyeing a return to action in time for pre-season for the 2019/20 campaign as Zinedine Zidane prepares for an overhaul of the squad after recently returning as head coach.

Madrid are back in action on Sunday when they welcome Athletic Bilbao to the Santiago Bernabeu as the hosts look to extend their unbeaten run to the three matches.
