Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez will again likely set his side out to defend when they aim for a first win of the season against Watford. The Magpies have just three points to their name this season, none of which have come in front of their fans at St James’ Park, and so the pressure is mounting on the Spaniard.

Benitez could bring striker Salomon Rondon back into his starting XI after coming off the bench in last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Southampton, with Yoshinori Muto expected to make way.
Jamie Sterry and Florian Lejeune are Newcastle’s two long-term absentees and Benitez will be hoping for a better outcome than when these sides met on Tyneside last season.
