Ospreys Confirm Several Departures

Defence coach Brad Davis is one of eight people that will be leaving the Ospreys at the end of the season.

Former Rugby League player Davis has held the position at the Liberty Stadium for the past three years but will be leaving the Welsh outfit when the current campaign concludes.

The 51-year-old is the only coach that has been confirmed as leaving for the time being but he will be joined through the exit door by seven first-team players.

Scott Baldwin, who is heading to Harlequins, back-row Rob McCusker, scrum-half Tom Habberfield, Giorgi Nemsadze, Alex Jeffries, James Ratti and Joe Thomas are all leaving.

Confirming the news, Ospreys managing director Andrew Millward said: “On behalf of everybody at the Ospreys, I’d like to thank each one of these individuals for their service and hard work while at the region. “As we all know, this time of year traditionally sees confirmation of player and staff movement across the rugby world and we are no different. “All of those leaving have contributed positively to our environment during their time with us, on and off the field, and no doubt will continue to do as we prepare for a Champions Cup play-off against the Scarlets later this month.”
