Palace And Cherries Eye New Keeper

Crystal Palace and Bournemouth have been linked to Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, who fancies a move to the Premier League.

According to Turkish media reports, Palace and Bournemouth have shown interest in the Uruguayan but negotiations have not yet taken place.

The Eagles currently have two keepers of exactly the same age and roughly similar experience level as Muslera, 32, but neither Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita have firmly established themselves as the undisputed number one choice.

The Uruguayan international has been at Galatasaray for eight years and has got Champions League football and World Cup finals appearances on his CV, which the current Palace duo can only dream of.

Paris Saint-Germain were linked to Muslera in January but he rejected the chance to go there because he didn’t want to play second fiddle.

The report also claims that both Palace and Bournemouth are interested in Stoke City’s Jack Butland but fear the Championship club’s asking price will be too much.
