Pereira Set For Spanish Return

Andreas Pereira could be offered a permanent return to Valencia if his Old Trafford deal is allowed to run down this summer.

The Manchester United starlet spent last season on loan at the Spanish side, who couldn’t raise the £10m asking price to keep him at the Mestalla.

However, Pereira, is still waiting to hear from the Red Devils if he will be offered a new contract and is ready to spread his wings elsewhere to now get his career moving.

Talks have been on the backburner for a number of months with the 23-year-old, and Valencia still hold a lot of admiration for the player.

Pereira made a total of 18 appearances for Los Che, although they can also expect competition from teams in England, with Leicester City previously making a loan enquiry for the Brazil-born attacker.

Pereira was ready to quit the Theatre of Dreams last summer but decided to give it one last shot under Jose Mourinho and even returned early for pre-season training to try and catch the eye.

The United academy graduate has made just nine bit-part appearances this season, with caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still making his own assessment of Pereira.
