Pochettino’s side would be without midfielder Mousa Dembele while Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli could be rested for Saturday’s game at Crystal Palace.

Dembele has been ruled out until the new year with an ankle injury in what is a blow to boss Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield plans but that setback is tempered by the fact Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama have both returned to training and are in contention for the Selhurst Park clash.
Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen, however, remain out, while Pochettino has admitted he could rest key duo Alli and Eriksen.
Both players have had their injury problems this season and with a busy period continuing over the next month, and the fact they are set feature for England and Denmark respectively in upcoming international matches, Pochettino says he may opt to give them the weekend off.
The Tottenham boss said: “They are going to move to the national team I think. It will be tough to play two games. “That is why we need to take care and send them really fresh. That is why we are thinking if they are going to play or not against Palace.”
