Potter Early Favourite For Seagulls Role

Swansea City boss Graham Potter has emerged as the early favourite to take charge at Brighton. The 43-year-old impressed in the Championship with the Swans, despite the South Wales outfit missing out on a place in the play-offs this season.

Potter made his name in the Swedish top flight with Ostersunds, before being snapped up by Swansea last year and now the tactician has been linked with a move to the Amex Stadium.

Brighton revealed they had sacked manager Chris Hughton on Monday morning and now the club are in the process of finding a man to replace the former Newcastle United and Norwich boss. The Seagulls finished the season in 17th place in the Premier League table and managed to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup but that was not enough to save Hughton’s job.
