Allen -Pressure On Price

Dave Allen says it will be on David Price to perform in Saturday’s bout at The O2 Arena. Allen knocked out Lucas Brown on his last outing and faces the veteran on the undercard of Dillian Whyte-Oscar Rivas.

Price has restored some pride with wins over Kash Ali and Tom Little but with three defeats in his last six fights, there is a feeling that one more loss could spell the end of the road for the Liverpudlian.

Allen is on a run of four straight victories, three of which have come via knockout, and believes the spotlight will be on his opponent as he aims to prolong his career. “I don’t really care enough about anything in life for it to be a pressurised situation for myself,” Allen told Sky Sports.

“If David Price loses against me I know it will upset him because I never boxed when he was the next Klitschko, I had never even boxed in my life. “So he must beat me otherwise it’s the end, where I will keep going. I’ve got no shame. I’ll fight anywhere, anyone. The pressure is all on him.”
