Brighton fans will be wasting their time booing former target Alex Pritchard this weekend as the Huddersfield star is not bothered.
Pritchard was close to joining the Seagulls before pulling out of the deal at the final minute and joining Norwich, a move that enraged Brighton fans.
He is now at Huddersfield after a successful spell at Carrow Road and his former team-mate Russell Martin told the Argus Brighton fans will be wasting their time if they boo him.
He said: “The boos might affect certain players – especially I suppose if they are coming from your own fans! But he wasn’t bothered either way.
“He made that decision to go to Norwich and he stuck by it, right or wrong. “You could say it has worked out for him because he is playing in the Premier League now and that is where a player of his talents should be.”
