Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to move for Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and are willing to pay £100m. The Premier League transfer window might be shut but the major leagues on the continent can still sign players until the end of August, meaning the English clubs’ top stars are vulnerable.
Eriksen would certainly fall into that category, having shone in midfield for Spurs during the last five years.
The 26-year-old has yet to pen a new deal with the north Londoners and the Daily Express are reporting that the Parisians have taken note and are willing to test the water to see if they can strike a deal, while Real Madrid have also been mentioned as a possible destination.
It remains to be seen if Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would allow him to leave having failed to sign a single player while the window was open.
