Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to rescue Alexis Sanchez by making a renewed effort to sign the unhappy forward. The Manchester United man is said to be already weighing up his options just nine months after arriving at Old Trafford from Arsenal on a free transfer.
And wealthy officials at PSG are believed to be keen on the 29-year-old, who has seen his move to the Red Devils fail to spark into life so far.
Sanchez rebuffed the Ligue 1 champions when they held detailed talks with him early last year, preferring to continue playing his football in England.
At that stage, the former Arsenal man had set his heart on a move to Manchester City before Jose Mourinho came in to swoop and dangle wages of £505,000-per-week in front of him.
Sanchez has scored just four times for his new club and has recently lost his place in the starting line up, with reports in his homeland stating he already regrets the decision to move to United.
It is understood, however, that the capital club may still be willing to take on the majority of Sanchez’s huge personal financial package should United be ready to cut their losses and allow him to move again on a free transfer next summer.
The French giants are currently being forced to comply heavily with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rulings and are tipped to sell one of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe next year to Real Madrid, which would free up a space on their attacking roster for Sanchez.
