Claude Puel will be without Demarai Gray and Matty James for Leicester’s Premier League trip to Newcastle on Saturday. The Foxes boss confirmed at his pre-match press conference that winger, Gray, is facing between three and six weeks on the sidelines because of the ankle injury he suffered in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup win at Wolves.
And, while the injury is not as serious as initially feared, he is still set to miss some important fixtures, starting with the game at St James’ Park.

Gray aside, James is the only other absentee as he continues to work his way back from an Achilles tendon injury.
Puel has an otherwise fully fit and available squad at his disposal with Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu set to be involved on Tyneside.
The French tactician said: “He’s ready to give good service, but we also have experienced players with [Wes] Morgan, [Harry] Maguire and [Jonny] Evans.
“Çaglar is ready and he is improving his English, which is important to communicate with his team-mates and to share ideas.
“It’s important to know that he is a young player and he can wait at times but he is close to the team and is available if we have a problem in the team.”
