Chelsea defender Baba Rahman is reportedly set to end his loan spell at Schalke early this month and is wanted by clubs in Spain.
Villarreal and Girona are targeting the 24-year-old, who is believed to be ready to end his spell at Bundesliga side Schalke early as he’s grown frustrated at his lack of regular action – despite now being fit after recovering from a serious knee injury.

Reports say Chelsea will recall the defender, who has made just four appearances in all competitions for Schalke this term, then allow him to go elsewhere on loan as they have Emerson Palmieri as cover for first-choice left-back Marcos Alonso at Stamford Bridge.
Rahman has made just 23 senior appearances for the Blues since joining them in August 2015.
