Trainer William Haggas says Rainbow Heart may skip the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches on Sunday. There are 12 horses currently in the field for the French 1000 Guineas with one more final declaration stage remaining.

It had been expected to travel, but Haggas says he is yet to make a final decision on her involvement. “I’m not sure Rainbow Heart will go, I just need to check the ground. She needs quickish ground, so we might wait with her and go for the Musidora at York,” he said, as reported by Sky Sports.
Castle Lady is the current favourite for the French 1000 Guineas, ahead of Commes, Suphala, Watch Me and East.
