Rebbe Moves On – Complete Sports

Huddersfield Town have confirmed that sporting director Olaf Rebbe has left the club by mutual consent. The Terriers look set for a clean slate this month after the departure of former coach David Wagner earlier this week. The German decided to step down from his position after the 0-0 draw with Cardiff.

Town are currently bottom of the Premier League and eight points from safety and the club’s board are planning to announce a new manager after this weekend’s meeting with Manchester City.

Confirming Rebbe’s exit, Chief Executive Julian Winter told the club website: “We thank Olaf for his service and wish him all the best for the future.”

Chairman Dean Hoyle and Winter will work with existing Head of Recruitment Josh Marsh on first team affairs for the time being.
