Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Joe Gomez have travelled with the squad to face Paris Saint-Germain after training on Tuesday. Mane started Saturday’s Premier League victory over Watford but was a doubt for Wednesday’s Champions League clash after struggling with illness.
The Senegal international returned to training at Melwood on Tuesday, though, and could retain his spot in the starting XI.
omez hasn’t featured for Liverpool since the 2-0 win over Fulham on November 11, having picked up an ankle injury on international duty with England.
But he is also hoping to boost Jurgen Klopp’s options after taking part in Tuesday’s session with the rest of the squad.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Adam Lallana, Dominic Solanke and Nathaniel Clyne are still unavailable, but Klopp has called up Rafael Camacho from the U23 squad as cover.
