Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum expects Jurgen Klopp to rotate for their tough run of games after the international break. The Reds have made a perfect start to the 2018-19 campaign and they sit top of the pile in the Premier League during the international break.
Klopp has stuck with a core group of players over the opening weeks of the season, using just 16 members of his squad.
However, the German will likely need to delve deeper into his reserves when they return to action later this month.
Liverpool, who enter into the Carabao Cup and Champions League this month, have a spell of seven games over the course of three weeks, and Wijnaldum is expecting lots of changes.
“It’s going to be a really important period for us, not only because they’re big games, but also because we play a lot of games,” Wijnaldum told the club’s website.
“In these kinds of periods you need your whole squad.”
