Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson is available for Sunday’s home Premier League clash against struggling Fulham. England international Henderson has been struggling with a hamstring injury over the past couple of weeks and his last appearance came in the 1-0 win at Huddersfield Town on October 20.
However, the 28-year-old, who has made nine Premier League appearances this season, has returned to full training and will be available for the contest against the Cottagers at Anfield.
German boss Jurgen Klopp also confirmed midfielder Naby Keita, who was on the bench for the shock 2-0 Champions League loss to Red Star Belgrade in midweek, is fit to play after five games out. “It’s good to have them back, it’s probably the first time that all midfield players apart from Ox are available,” he said at a press conference.
“That’s then another thing to do, making decisions, who starts with who, stuff like that. It’s all about then fitness level, form, shape, whatever and then we will see.”
Defender Joe Gomez is set to be recalled to the starting 11 after starting the European outing on the bench whilst Brazilian Roberto Firmino is expected to replace Daniel Sturridge.
