Southampton face competition from Real Sociedad for the signature of Bordeaux striker Francois Kamano, according to reports in Spain.
Basque source Noticas de Gipuzkoa claim Saints were keen on the striker during the January transfer window and could firm up their interest in the summer if their Premier League status is retained.

Atletico Madrid and Monaco are also said to be potential suitors for the 22-year-old Guinea international forward with Bordeaux turning down a bid from their fellow Ligue 1 outfit in January because it was not high enough.
But Real Sociedad hope to lure Kamano to northern Spain and are preparing to make their play for him. Kamano has scored 11 goals and assisted four others in all competitions this season, including nine league goals for the mid-table club.
