Southampton are still thought to be in the mix to sign Motherwell starlet David Turnbull after his failed switch to Celtic. Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is eager to bolster his options in the middle of the park at St Mary’s this summer and Turnbull is believed to be on his wish list.

Now the Hoops have pulled out of the deal for Turnbull, many have tipped the youngster to make a switch to newly-promoted Norwich City. However, the latest reports suggest that deal is still some way off and Saints are hoping they can still secure the services of the Scottish playmaker before the window closes.
