Christopher Schindler says he is enjoying being part of the Huddersfield Town fairy tale as the club battle with the big boys. The 28-year-old has played a key role in getting the West Yorkshire side to where they are today, as they compete with the biggest clubs in the English game.
As the club battle in their second season in the top flight, Schindler says he enjoyed helping the Terriers secure survival in the top flight last term and hopes the club can perform the same feat this time around.
He told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: “Playing in the Premier League is so special, and the first game was so enjoyable as well against Crystal Palace and then beating Manchester United.
“So there’s lots of great memories but it is just a pleasure to be here and it’s a pleasure to be a part of this kind of fairy tale story that we are having.
“Nevertheless, we think we have to go on now to reach the next step.”
