Jan Siewert has become the new bookmakers favourite to take the vacant manager’s post at Huddersfield Town. The German is the current coach of Borussia Dortmund II, the post which David Wagner held before he moved to the John Smith’s Stadium.
Wagner ended his stay in Yorkshire at the start of this week, with he and the club coming to an agreement on his future.
Elite development coach Mark Hudson will take charge of this weekend’s clash with Manchester City before the club then plan for the future.
David Moyes, Hudson and Sam Allardyce have all been mentioned but Siewert is now the favourite with bookies.
The Terriers board may look to Wagner for advice on Siewert, while Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta is also included in the running.
