Siewert Sets Out Attacking Plan – Completesports

Jan Siewert is confident Huddersfield can start picking up results if they stick to his new attacking game plan. The Terriers have not won a game since November, picking up just one point in that time to fall to the bottom of the Premier League table.
Town’s tally of 14 goals is by far the lowest in the league while Siewert has

so far struggled to have an impact, with the team netting just once in his three games in charge.
After going out of the FA Cup in the third round under David Wagner, his successor spent the weekend off working on his team’s attacking shape.

Next up for the Terriers is a trip to Newcastle on Saturday and the German is hopeful his plan to get more of his players into offensive areas can aid his team as they look to collect crucial points. “We know we are in a difficult situation but we must face it together, head-on,” said Siewert. “The players are still positive as we know we are on the right path after our work together. “We must look forward now and not focus on what is in the past. In our situation, we must win games and the more people we get into the opposition box, the bigger the threat we are. “What I have seen from the players – in training and in the games – makes me positive.”
